Event coordinators making internal daily tournaments

Coordinators are limited in that regard. Never quite understood it either.
Does it work for regular admins (i.e. not super admins or owners)?

Also, it it possible for a coordinator to set up a tournament then invite their club members retroactively?

You cannot really attach a daily tournament to a club. The closest is indeed to do an invite only tournament, and to invite players from the club.
Here you can share the invite link in the club, or go to the invite page and select "Invite a club I manage", but for that you indeed need to be an admin in that club at the moment you send the invites (otherwise the club won't appear in the list).

So I tried to get my event coordinator to make an internal club tournament, as they have premium membership that lets them make a multi-stage tournament.
But they are having difficulties attaching the tournament to the club.
Is this a limitation of the event coordinator rank (in which case does promoting to admin solve this), or are they just missing something?
Good morning. You have to make them an admin in your club in order for them to invite the club through the tournament page/ settings. I am a coordinator in a group that I make events for but I have to post the link in the group so folks can join.

And also set the tournament settings to "Invite only".

Yes, it works for admin and above.

haha my man! Sorry just woke up. I was so giddy that I knew the answer to the question that I just started typing!

Really what you need to do it make an announcement about the tourney, then tell the members of you club to join. I am not completely sure, but there might be a setting where you ( you being the tournament director.) can only allow certain people in.
Hope that helps.

You have to be an admin of the club otherwise it's "not your club."
