How did Tudorache_M get 74 points
Event History and Leaderboard - 2019
Checking the past 16 tournament's standings should give you the answer (excluding the 1500 member celebration tournament)
How did Tudorache_M get 74 points
60 of them came from four tournament wins.
Updated to reflect events through November. @SmyslovFan is back on top due to performing strongly in recent events, but @Miss_Tical is not far behind, with @patzers, @Tudorache_M, and @MikeChesser also possibly within range. @cjxchess17 and @Mazetix are almost certainly too far back, but are not mathematically eliminated if they win both of the remaining tournaments.
Hello! Sorry if I am being too nitpicking, but I think I should have either 63 or 64 points (not 62). I have a 1st place (15) , a 3rd (10), 2 times 4th (2x8), a 7th (4), 2 times 8th (2x3), and a 9th (2). This makes 53. Also, in the tournament on November the 5th, I came tied 2nd counting both criteria (I even got a second place medal), meaning that me and chessguy1012 should get 11 points each. So, if I am not mistaken, that gives either 63 points or 64. Cheers! ![]()
Ties probably don't average scores for different places, because this would lead to the possibility of all sorts of arbitrary fractions. I suppose full points for the (higher) place are awarded. Eg two people tied second on tiebreak each get 12?
(Needs clarification by someone who is not just guessing).

1. In the October Saturday tournament (https://www.chess.com/tournament/live/saturday-event---october-1106968), @Miss_Tical appears to have been disconnected on 3.5/4. As such, chess.com listed her at the bottom of the standings as having been withdrawn. However, 3.5 points is good enough for second place, so I counted her as having finished second, and everyone below that is slid down one spot. Therefore, in that event, you are counted as having finished 10th with one point, not 9th with two.
2. In the November Tuesday event (https://www.chess.com/tournament/live/untitled-tuesday---november-1117647), you're right, I missed that you tied for second. So you should be 2nd with 12 points, not 3rd with 10. I'll fix that.

Thanks for clarifying, for the immediate correction, for the points and for your trouble! ![]()
Another correction: there was a tie for 10th in the November Tuesday event, so @patzers has one more point.
Unstickied topic. Here's the post for 2020: https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/event-history-and-leaderboard-2020
