Maybe something supernatural, like God, created the universe billions of years ago, and then everything changed over time to how it is today. Maybe God brought you and me into this world. Maybe God is responsible for our consciousness. Maybe we are all connected through God. I have these beliefs and I found them through my own inquiry. I don’t believe everything the Bible says. I found God and what God means to me, and I find that the most important thing for my spirituality. My beliefs don’t in any way conflict with science. They both complement each other.
Evolution of peppered moths and walking sticks

I do believe the Bible so for me the burden of proof is on the evolutionists. I think God tells us though the Bible how the earth got here so I will need a ton of evidence to make me consider a compromise and I haven't seen it yet and I think I never will

I mean, a lot off the things we evolve would not work if we only had half of it so we would not be the fitest. Also we need reproduction organs and drives for any of this to work. How did we evolve that I wonder.

Why do you believe anything a book says once someone says God said it?

I don’t really know what you mean in your first sentence. There are evolutionary explanations for what you said in the next part, but the explanations don’t work if you think the earth is only several thousand years old.

It seems to be flawless and says it is the word of God. A lot of it prophesied about Jesus. How can it know the future unless it is inspired by God?

https://answersingenesis.org/evidence-for-creation/six-evidences-of-young-earth/
But we do not have billions of years to work with. The earth is young
Ken Ham is a shyster bilking retiree's out of the pension funds to build a water park. He can afford to ignore the evidence.
That why nobody will ever take him seriously.
Science theories need to adapt, to match the evidence. To change the evidence, to match the theory.
I know a lot of people who take him seriously
Then let me rephrase.
Ham's half-baked cons, will never a part of science textbooks.

"Science textbooks"EVOLUTION HAS NO REAL PROOF!! HOW CAN THEY LET THAT CRAP IN A TB WITHOUT PROOF! IT'S NOT SCIENCE, IT'S YOUR RELIGION. SCIENCE NEEDS PROOF. NOBODY HAS PROOF OF HOW WE GOT HER. NOT CHRISTIANS NOR EVOLUTIONIST. JUST DON'T CALL YOURS SCIENCE

Yes, flawless. Sometimes gruesome but flawless. Also we all know homosexuali is wrong and just because western society is changing there minds recently does not make it right or natural. The Bible stands

"Science textbooks"EVOLUTION HAS NO REAL PROOF!! H
Maybe not. But it stands alone, in that has some pretty darn compelling evidence, to support it.
Maybe if somebody someday could come up with a different theory, with as strong evidence as Evolution has, then that could get in the textbooks too.

“Slaves, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the cruel.” (1 Peter 2:18)
How is this flawless?

Not the kind of slaves you might be thinking. They where prisoners of war and debtor ect.

It’s still slavery no matter how you put it.
Slavery is immoral. I never thought I’d have to say that to someone in the 21st century in my own country.

Well said, Pyrite.

It’s actually a big problem that people in prison are used for free labor, and I think that must be changed. And on another note, I think way too many people are in prison for nonviolent crimes (though if we discussed that, we’d be going off topic).
Google “debt slavery” and then compare it to a loan from a bank in which you pay interest.
I agree that there are some cases in which not being paid for work is acceptable. If someone does volunteer work, they shouldn’t be paid. In addition, some internships are unpaid, and I think it’s okay if it is a requirement for the person’s education, like if a person in nursing school does their clinical experience while in school.
It's all about what you start off believing. It will take a lot more they a pretend geologic column full of inconsistencies and "missing links" that could easily have been created that way and then gone extinct if there not hoxes all together to make me change my mind on genesis. So fare that is the only evidence I've heard.
I’d say it’s more about what makes sense to a person. To me, the scientific philosophy makes more sense than creationism. To me, science is about something existing and people uncovering more about it. And then, as a result, these scientists contribute to an accumulation of knowledge. To me, creationism is like someone waving a wand and saying, “abra kadabra.” And tada! Things just magically appear.
Something supernatural must of happened to start the universe.our existence is impossible. Nothing can make itself and it's impossible to have something that always existed. It's also impossible to have a endless line of creators. Of course that's only in the natural world. God is the only way. Science can't explain it.
