3. Piece Merging. If you capture your own pieces (you cannot if the effect is redundant, pawns cannot be captured this way), the combined piece share the movement of the 2 pieces combined. you may or may not be able to seperate them.

white has an immediate advantage by playing 1. xd2

not if you design your position around that

317. Ninja gamerule

There must be an empty row behind your opponents pieces. At the start of the game, one of your random pieces will tp to the empty row. Your opponents cannot see your piece there but you can move and capture the pieces.

This seems more like a custom position rather than a rule. If you want advice on the position, I recommend you put this in the custom position workshop linked here

His gamerule is that players cannot capture or check each other until the bot dies which seems a bit silly to me as it seems to only make the gameplay worse.

So basically circle challenge

But their goal is to checkmate each other, and the bot must die first. I think that this position should just be an FFA because the gamerule proposed is really minor and also makes gameplay worse

(these 7 ideas are satire)

318. Auto-accept. Submit a variant and get auto-accepted.

319. Random Pieces Jumpscare. Every move, there is a 50/50 chance that Random Pieces gets opened in a new tab.

320. Anti-Pieces-Face-Centre. Players with the pieces face centre setting on won't have their pieces facing the centre

321. 321. After a certain move, a rocket ship gets launched into the board, destroying all pieces except for pawns, dead, banked, and royal pieces.

322. Pieces-Not-Face-Centre. Pieces face away from the centre.

323. When Will Every End Be Accepted/Declined? Once a seek for Every End is open, you will automatically join it.

324. Decline Post 20. Sun explodes.

325. Iceman. Whenever you capture a frozen piece, all your pieces get petrified for 3 turns and you can only pass.

326. Trolled. When this gamemode is on, when you check, if the opponent captures or blocks the checking piece, their screen has the words "YOU'VE BEEN TROLLED" and the checking piece tp's to somewhere where it's still checking the opponent and you gobble up their royal.

327. Hot Potato. On the 23, 46, 69, 92 and 115 moves, an invisible hot potato is thrown between your pieces. Press space, and the piece it is on is petrified.

340. Gravity. On the 6,7,12,14,18,21,24,28,30,35 and 67th move, a random square becomes an invisible brick. It destroys the piece, if any. Cannot happen on a royal.
