If someone has a question they think should be on here, let me or one of the admins know, and we will add it here (admins make sure the format stays the same). I was looking through the Club Feedback Form, and answered a few questions adjusted to that
Where can I join Daily Matches? We have lots of current/upcoming events here. Ale will occasionally send out DM's to strong players to join harder matches where we are outnumbered.
Why isn't anyone discussing moves in Vote Chess? If you're asking this, then you're probably unaware of our vote chess system, which you can find here. If you are too lazy to read it, then I can summarize it. There is a leader for each game, and in our Discord channel, there will be a thread where the leader proposes a move, and the voters discuss whether it's fine. I personally think it's a good system and can help new people understand how stronger players think
How can I become a Vote Chess leader? For most of the administration stuff, you would have to ask Ale directly. But my hunch would be that Ale will accept all players above 1500. There are some clubs out there that aren't very strong, so we can give those players a chance to lead games, while stronger players can lead harder games (against teams that are top 300 on the leaderboards)
Why are the arenas on Lichess? That I'm not too sure, we can try to organize arenas on here if there is demand for it. You can ask sebas
What do staff members do? I have seen in the form and in notes where people are saying, "the admins don't do anything," "oh, the admins aren't active," and whatnot. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make sure this club runs as well as it does. Coordinators help create new vote chess/daily matches and arenas. Admins keep active and moderate forums/notes (as I said earlier, even if they aren't active, it doesn't mean they aren't doing anything. If there is some drama going on in the notes, you can dm one of them, and they will respond relatively quickly, and super admins manage the competitive side of this club, ensure the club is running as smoothly as possible, and give out resources to ensure the other staff members can succeed (an example would be me making this forum, I'm also active on the Discord server by leading lots of vote chess matches). Moreover, Akito is involved with daily matches (along with club partnerships and general problems), Minh is involved with vote chess games, and Ale is there for basically anything. Roya is just gay
Can I get Admin/SA? This would have to be something you'd talk to Ale about, and the staff will see if it's appropriate for you to receive a promotion.
Will there be Q&A's? I saw a response on the form suggesting a Q&A, and I would love to do it if people are interested.
