If someone has a question they think should be on here, let me or one of the admins know, and we will add it here (admins make sure the format stays the same). I was looking through the Club Feedback Form, and answered a few questions adjusted to that  Where can I join Daily Matches? We have lots of current/upcoming events here. Ale will occasionally send out DM's to strong players to join harder matches where we are outnumbered.  Why isn't anyone discussing moves in Vote Chess? If you're asking this, then you're probably unaware of our vote chess system, which you can find here. If you are too lazy to read it, then I can summarize it. There is a leader for each game, and in our Discord channel, there will be a thread where the leader proposes a move, and the voters discuss whether it's fine. I personally think it's a good system and can help new people understand how stronger players think How can I become a Vote Chess leader? For most of the administration stuff, you would have to ask Ale directly. But my hunch would be that Ale will accept all players above 1500. There are some clubs out there that aren't very strong, so we can give those players a chance to lead games, while stronger players can lead harder games (against teams that are top 300 on the leaderboards) Why are the arenas on Lichess? That I'm not too sure, we can try to organize arenas on here if there is demand for it. You can ask sebas What do staff members do? I have seen in the form and in notes where people are saying, "the admins don't do anything," "oh, the admins aren't active," and whatnot. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make sure this club runs as well as it does. Coordinators help create new vote chess/daily matches and arenas. Admins keep active and moderate forums/notes (as I said earlier, even if they aren't active, it doesn't mean they aren't doing anything. If there is some drama going on in the notes, you can dm one of them, and they will respond relatively quickly, and super admins manage the competitive side of this club, ensure the club is running as smoothly as possible, and give out resources to ensure the other staff members can succeed (an example would be me making this forum, I'm also active on the Discord server by leading lots of vote chess matches). Moreover, Akito is involved with daily matches (along with club partnerships and general problems), Minh is involved with vote chess games, and Ale is there for basically anything. Roya is just gay Can I get Admin/SA? This would have to be something you'd talk to Ale about, and the staff will see if it's appropriate for you to receive a promotion. Will there be Q&A's? I saw a response on the form suggesting a Q&A, and I would love to do it if people are interested.

Hello everyone, This forum is made to help lower elo players learn from higher elo players in terms of asking questions and seeking insights into certain chess games (please note that all games must be only competed to avoid cheating) This is also a forum for those who have questions for our higher elo players as well (If you have any questions or concerns about this forum, please reach out to me or Ale) Thank you for reading

Vote Chess is a form of play in which the moves with the most votes represent the team. These matches will always be played with a time control of two-days (48 hours) per move. due to power outages in some countries that can last for an entire day. For more information, click here. In our vote matches, there is one default judge, who will be the administrator @minhminh2211. However, additional judges may be designated for a match if needed. The judges will discuss the possible best moves in a position. Players and judges will begin voting once the decisions are made. There will always be more than one option to vote on, depending on the number of judges and the possible moves they can see on the board (unless the position clearly shows tactical themes or obvious checkmate patterns visible to all members). If a member votes prematurely, they will be disqualified from the match. If a player is suspected of using external assistance, they will also be disqualified. If you post a move within the #VoteChess threads on Discord server or WhatsApp group, your opinion will not be considered and will be deleted, as it will be regarded as external assistance. You must first join that Vote Chess match in order to comment. Players who insist on commenting moves without being joined to the Vote Chess match will be expelled from the club after the first warning. Goals of the year (2026) Organize the games with enough time for proper planning. Comply with Vote Chess rules, maintaining a constant flow of activity and avoiding overload for players and judges. Consolidate at least a winning percentage higher than the theoretical 75%=>80 or 85% Share your moves with explanations and don't forget that patience is the soul of a vote chess playerIf you can't wait for the discussion before voting, please don't participate in Vote Chess. Our judge The administrator in charge of this game mode. @minhminh2211 A) Judges will provide a list of the possible moves that have been discussed, and you can only vote for one of the moves on the list. B) Be mindful in openings: If you propose an unusual opening that most players don't typically play, you must take responsibility for guiding us through its ideas and concepts. Posting videos, links to studies, or books is allowed. c) If you're not sure how to write the continuation in your head, use the PGN tool (the chessboard icon above the note box). D) The judges, at their discretion, may issue a warning or ban any team member for violating a rule, depending on the severity of the infraction.E) If you notice a move or mistake suggested by another member, be courteous, respectful, and constructive in your feedback. F) @minhminh2211 can choose a judge based on their Elo or specific aspects they have observed in the user, such as their mastery of certain openings or defenses, tactical sharpness, pattern recognition, understanding of endgames, positional strategy skills, and ability to evaluate complex variations. Experience in deep analysis and making critical decisions during high-level games can also be taken into account.  Thanks for reading. What's the best, and most accurate chess scene you've seen in any anime? I need to start watching anime, and I think chess would be a good place to start...

Do you ever watch some anime, and then feel like learning Japanese because of it? It happened to me while I was watching a movie in Chinese once (Shaolin Soccer). 🤣

don't really know how i shot up 100 blitz elo in about 2 days . i'm hovering over 1950 as of today, and i wanted to share this okayish game i played where i got my best blitz win ever against a 2050. i really need to work on my time management because i got into a good position then panicked when i was low on time, which put me in a bad position. then i realized when he was under 30 seconds i could flag and i got away with it. i'll leave a few comments over what i was thinking and what i mean by time pressure getting to me but it won't be too in depth

My chess feels passive and lifeless right now. I want to develop a more aggressive playing style as a beginner. Which openings would you recommend? Also, is studying ~800 ELO games effective at my level? I was around 450 ELO before, but I overplayed and my mental efficiency dropped, which hurt my rating.

Hello everyone, Andrew here again. I have been working on the next part of my story but I have came a across a dilemma in which I couldn't decide to characters. So I need four people that would like to be characters in my story! I need two male characters and two female characters. Everyone will have a choice to chose what they want to be expect one which will be a president. So if you would like to join please comment I would and and then I will decide. If their is multiple people asking to join I will spin a wheel decide the lucky four. Note that you do not have to join or read this if you do not like to be in it. But it would help greatly for me. I will allow you all to submit all day today and will close this forum sometime tomorrow with the winners announced.  Thank you all and have a blessed day! Sincerely, Andrew
