If you know the lore, you made the categories somewhat wrong.
Dwarf: Mîm the Petty-dwarf
Elf: Turgon (Gil-Galad is a close second)
Man: Túrin Turambar, son of Húrin Thallion
Halfling: Bilbo Baggins
Maiar: Olorín
Valar: Morgoth Bauglir (Ulmo is a close second)
Primordial evil: Carcharoth
Primordial good: Tom Bombadil
Misc evil: Gothmog I
Misc good: Thorondor
I'll add more groupings to my list when I think of them.
Well, I also missed some,like entz. But literally 3 are mentioned by name, only One actually plays a part of those 3, so I left them out.
And technically the Witch king is a man but whatever

Man is Faramir 100%
Hobbit is Sam
Wizard is Gandalf altho not many choices
Wizard would be Gandalf

Hobbit either Merry or Pippin
Man Faramir
Dwarf Gimli
Ent Treebeard
and the bad guy that I dislike the least...Well I'm not sure.
