what are peoples favorite bible stories?

I like the story of Samson, but that's probably only because I have really long hair and a weakness for beautiful women.    I've already encountered my Delilah who cut off my hair and sapped me of my strength (fortunately I wasn't blinded in the process), but my hair has since grown back and my self-confidence is on it's way.

Wow! Who can really pick favorites since God was in all these stories-

I like the perserverance of Joseph who remained faithful in all his prison years.
I like the depth and marvelous wisdom of the prophet Isaiah.
I like the story of the agony of Hosea who loved Gomer even when she sinned against him like Israel sinned against God though He continued to love them.
I like the wisdom of Daniel who stood strong in the lion's den.
I like the in-depth seeking of the heart of God in David's Psalms.
I like the faithfulness of Jeremiah even though his life was filled with sorrow.
I like the deeper knowledge of the divinity of Christ that St. John had.
I like the faithfulness of Paul who suffered many, many things for our Lord.

And the list goes on and on.....who can pick among the blessed saints of God?

True, but God is never mentioned in the story of Esther.
