No, really, its hard to argue against Ball as he was a fantastic player and why we sold him was a mystery akin to black holes and the origin of the universe.
I will always remember the moments of delight Bob Latchford and Duncan McKenzie brought me in the '70s but I gotta go with Kevin Sheedy, the best left foot I've ever seen.
People rave about Beckham with a dead ball but Sheedy was special.
My favourite player of all time is Alan Ball. Great player with skill, energy and 100% effort.
