Here's a similar trap, which also works often against people who haven't fallen for it before. I think beginners miss the diagonal threat of the queen, and the consequences of it landing on g2. Especially if they can win a rook...

Those are nice traps, but a bit silly. Only players very new to chess would fall for it. How about any more advanced traps that help gain initiative rather than an immidiate checkmate?
