Having a separate section for followers in the social tab seems redundant to me. Put it on the friends page and add a separate tab to see who's following you and who you're following.
Feedback: Finding Players You're Following

Agreed.
This kind of thing seems to be site-wide - pages are located in unintuitive places, making navigation difficult. One I posted about the other day is the page that lists the tournaments underway that are available for players to join. They are at Play > Play > Tournaments, while Play > Tournaments gives (mostly) just upcoming tournaments. Even a link saying "Want to join a tournament underway? Click here!" would be an improvement.
Another funny one is the lessons on openings. If you go Learn > Openings, that takes you to one set of lessons on openings. If you go Learn > Practice > Openings > 1. e4 that takes you to a different set of lessons on openings.
A lot of features are like that. I think that overall the navigation of the site needs to be more streamlined.
I agree, MrKoovy.
Related to following people, I find it surprisingly hard to even find the profile page of non-friend members. For example, if you want to look up a top player. On my phone, I have no idea how to do it (except to go to Leaderboard and hope that the person I want is listed; there's no search field). On my laptop, I click Social, then Members, then go to the search field. But there used to be a much easier option: just type a name in the search field on the homepage. I'd like to have something like that again. Or maybe it exists and I just haven't found it?
Currently, the only way to find players you're following is to go to Settings > Following. In my opinion, this is not a good location for that information. Settings should be reserved for just that: settings.
Followed players should be accessible from your profile, or perhaps under Social. Maybe in between Social > Friends and Social > Clubs could be two more sections for Followers and Following. Or even consolidate them into one section and have two tabs to separate the two groups.
Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now.
