Yellow felt helpless and resigned. If red doesn't do something quick, blue will resign and/or capture the yellow king. Red to move and save his game. Based on the current rules, what does red do? This will take 9 move cycles.

-First of all, blue  just can resing and win

-red cant do nothing, blue can stop the checks in 2 or 3 moves cause his queens, and take yellow king at third move and resign,

Red: 1.Qb10

Blue: 2.Qi7d12

Red: 3.Qe10

Blue: 4.Qi11e11

*Red lost, next blue take the king and resign, other option is take some pieces, but only gives points to blue

I assume the first move is Q to B12,

After that unless you can force Blue to take pawn at D13 I don't see it and I don't see Blue being stupid enough to take that pawn but I suspect that is where the moves are. That said I also don't know how he get enough points to win but I would assume in the 9 moves taking the blue rook is the trick. Be interesting to see the solution to this one.

fourplayerchess

Yeah I just realized that a checkmate only awards the mater 20 pts. Broke my solution. But the intended solution is a five-fold repetition.

fourplayerchess

nullUpdated for the intended solution to work now. Be careful if blue blocks a check with a Queen btw. You don't want to checkmate him immediately.

The thing is.. even if you draw,,, you will probably both get same number of points added.

Even if red captured 2 kings, he would not have won the game because 5+20+20=45

so there is a 100% chance for winning of blue.... the chance will not even decrease even if he runs out of time... XD

fourplayerchess

Yup, you're on the right track. Qxf12++ earns 5 pts. That's the first move. What is the rest?

capteinsa

Wait after Qxf12 Ke14, the yellow king can take right?

fourplayerchess

Yellow resigned. I thought I indicated that yellow was removed from the game but its not clear. I assumed surrounding the score with a black background meant dead and surrounding the score with a white background meant alive. Do I need a better indication next time?

capteinsa

Oh my bad haha. Strong move!

MainframeSupertasker

no need .. its ok!
