All games in Round 1 were draws.Gata Kamsky in Game 2 defeated Veselin Topalov in an English Opening today in 31 moves. Grischuk and Aronian played to a draw today. The other two games as of this writing are still in progress.

All games but one drawn in Match Games 3. Gelfand takes down Mamedyarov with the black pieces in a Najdorf Sicilian.
