To clarify: when a superpawn moves diagonal or sideways, does it have to capture, or can it move that way with or without capture?
It can move that way with or without capturing.
Then I will make my d and e pawns be my superpawns.
I choose my a and h pawns, because side vs. center should be very interesting a battle.
I would label the choice of pawns move 0, but maybe that's just me.
e4
good point
e5

Despite its added abilities, a superpawn is still a pawn nevertheless, and therefore easy to trap.

Thank you.

Although my superpawn on e2 is on the second rank, it did move from d2. So I'm assuming it can't move to e4 (in one turn), right?
