If you have higher elo, it means that you have higher mission to win. For failing of higher cost mission, your deducted elo will be higher.

Yes but
it depends on case
since you tied for second it’s and FFA Match and that happened because your Elo rate was less but if you have tied on first or third, then you and your opponent will have increased or decreased Elo rate.
I just played a game where me and another person both tied for second, and I lost rating but the other person gained, in all honesty, if it's a tie at least make it so both gain rating or both lose, if it's a tie one shouldn't lose that. Fix that, no context for that to happen
