Chess.com did not send you a SCID file. Your pc has associated all PGN files with SCID, thus when you receive a PGN, your pc says its SCID file . You can right click the pgn file and select to open with notepad etc. OR you can just uninstall scid if you will not be using it as your default PGN viewer.
