Why would 4pc spells be forbidden

Any capture crazyhouse is another one, Diminishing Returns fits the bill. Another forbidden combo is FFA crazyhouse, which Diminishing Returns also fits.
4pc spells would be forbidden because lets say red blue yellow all targeted green, froze all pieces, putting him into zugzwang, he gets mated early on, so Green is at a disadvantage - increases the king-making leverage.
let's say 4pc freeze, 4pc with only jump is perfectly fine
what is the criteria for a forbidden combination again

no - if yellow's queen is lined up on green's king, red and blue apply the jump spell on the two obstacles, leaving yellow free to take green's king on move 1
