No it’s not. That’s the point, I’ve always been playing to get levels. Isn’t that the point? There isn’t any other way to get levels, right? You can’t buy them like you can with tiers, and most missions will give you XP.

I know that u can ride boats on land, but they are so much slower than the other vehicles
I’d rather have a driftboard over a motorboat if you know what I mean

Before, it was easier to get tiers and advance battle pass. But leveling is harder than tiering up so you have to play more. Check the Fortnite Reddit to find all the complaints.

Oh, well I think it’s easier... before it was harder because you needed to complete challenges to earn tiers... and I am a default so all the missions were practically locked

Ah I see. Then it's definitely easier because battle pass owners don't get any leveling bonus this season. But the free pass doesn't have much to offer.
