Forum Post - backwards order or not?

Forum post #1 is arranged in order from the oldest to newest post.  However, forum post #2 is in order from newest to oldest post.  Not sure if it's suppose to be like this or it's a bug?  It's the first time I can remember seeing a reverse order.  Usually the posts are in order from oldest to newest post.

I thought perhaps because it is a topic chess.com is asking members to vote on, that's why it has the most recent comment first?

#1 Titles on chess.com

#2 What is your opinion regarding online chess titles?

With pure forums, we've generally assumed people woudl read from beginning to end.

But with surverys and news that isn't always the case.

@jdcannon  Sounds good. happy.png  That's what I assumed once I thought about it.  I agree, it makes sense to have surveys and news the reverse order of pure forums.

Why can’t we choose sorting order? Just a small arrow could do it. And what about lists with hundreds of pages we can only skip very few at a time. Why not a go to page field we can enter a number ?
