The "Activity" column provides information such as:

Topics: 22814

Posts: 325399

And while that may be of some interest to someone, it doesn't really tell the user anything particularly useful. What would be useful would be:

 

Topics Since Last Login: xxxxx

Posts Since Last Login: xxxx

 

or

 

Topics Today: xxxxx

Posts Today: xxxxx

 

I doubt anyone really cares if there's 300,000 posts in the general  forum. But they might really be interested in knowing if there are a lot of NEW posts they haven't seen.

+1.  That info is not useful and it takes up a lot of space (clutter is bad).

Agree on the clutter aspect as well. It might be best just to drop it entirely, but if we're going to have stats, at least have them be stats meaningful to the user experience.
