I am in the helicopter window, operating a M60 machine gun. 213th Blackcats. And we're coming in for a landing, to pick up super brave soldiers. A five-man long-range reconnaissance patrol. (LRRP's).
One of the guys on the ground was taking several Polaroid pictures, and gave me this one.
Did you notice that the guy in the bottom right corner of the picture, has a used grenade pin on the back of his helmet? A battle souvenir.
I saw the UN soldiers picture above, and thought maybe someone would like to see real soldiers. Look at the difference in their uniforms, from wearing the same one for weeks.
