Definitions:
Void: A match is no longer affiliated with Galactic Conflict (GC). No league points or regions may be earned.Campaign: A match between two or more regions where the foreseen result is one club’s campaign being successful.O Campaign: A campaign where clubs attack from outside the map.Null: Either one or both sides in the campaign have lost a region and cannot give it to the other as a win. This will result in double league points being earned to the club if they cannot earn a territory. O campaigns are not considered null.Union: A group of clubs united for the purpose of conquering land together.Region: A square on the map that contains one club at a time. There are 150 regions on the map (10x15 grid).
Rules:
Territories:1.1 There are 150 regions on the map (10x15 grid).1.2 Clubs that own regions may ‘attack’ any region touching theirs by the North, South, East, West, Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, and Southeast, as well as regions that are connected to the ones they already own (via adjacency to a bordering region).1.3 Regions are won once a club has defeated the current owner of the region via any type of club match (Vote Chess, Daily Match, Live match, Multi-Club Arena).
Registering:2.1 To register, enter your club’s picture, its link, and the region you wish to claim in the ‘confirmation thread’ in Galactic Conflict.2.2 Create the match for the club that owns the region you wish to take. (See 2.5)2.3 The region you wish to take MUST be adjacent to one of your existing regions (i.e., touching or bordering the region you control).2.4 Clubs may no longer try to get onto the map after September 30.2.5 If the map is full, Rule 2.2 and 2.3 apply. Before this, it is an optional option for entering the world.2.6 If there are unclaimed regions, new clubs may claim them instead of following Rule 2.2.7 Regions may only be claimed if they are adjacent to a region that is already claimed.2.8 Even if there are still unclaimed regions, any club that loses all their regions must attack from the outer edge to get back on the map instead of claiming one. This also applies to clubs that leave the conflict and later rejoin. Unless no outer edge region is occupied, then club make choose a region next to one occupied.2.9 The maximum number of O campaigns a club may have at any given time is 3 (Null campaigns do not count).2.10 Any club with a region can only attack from the regions they have, not from the outer edge.2.11 A club must have at least 50 members to join the city.
Campaigns:3.1 To create a campaign with a club, the first step is to contact the admin(s) of that club that owns the region you wish to attack.3.2 Once both admins of the two clubs have agreed on the parameters of the campaign, one of the admins will send a challenge to the other club. (See 3.13)3.3 Information needed in the confirmation thread: Match link, attacking region, defending region, and the funding information for both sides (See #11).3.4 Clubs attacking from outside the Galactic conflict are labeled with "O" as their region.3.5 A single club may only be fighting 3 different edge regions from "O" at one time in an attempt to get into the map.3.6 In order for a match to be called an official Galactic Conflict Campaign, it must be posted in the confirmation thread within 7 days of the match’s start date.3.7 Unresponsive admins will need to be reported to the “Unresponsive Admins” thread, and the case will be dealt with depending on the situation.3.8 Null campaigns are campaigns where one or both of the regions involved in the campaign have lost their region in another campaign.3.9 Null campaigns will continue without being marked on the map. If the winner of the null campaign was the one that lost their region, they will win the other club’s region.3.10 If both clubs lost their region or the club that hadn’t lost its region wins, then no one earns a region (see League Points #7).3.11 The maximum number of campaigns a single region may have at any given time is 4 (Null campaigns do not count).3.12 Clubs may decline a challenge to the campaign if they have 3 or 4 ongoing campaigns already (Null campaigns do not count) for the square in question, and the challenge is not an O Attack (if the number of ongoing campaigns is 3).3.13 If any one square has a battle, that square cannot be gifted to another club.
Unions:4.1 Unions can be created via the “Union thread” in Galactic Conflict. Once all admins of the clubs in the Union have agreed, formation is then completed in the Union formation thread.4.2 A Union allows clubs to attack regions surrounding their affiliated club’s regions as well as their own.4.3 Unions protect a club from immediate attack from its affiliates, however, they can still leave the Union and attack.4.4 In the event that a Union is broken while a campaign via Union is still in progress, the Union campaign is not affected.4.5 Once a Union is broken, no more campaigns via that Union may be created.4.6 Unions may not be created between two clubs if they are currently in conflict with each other.4.7 The campaign may be erased from the war if both admins agree.4.8 In order to attack via Union, there must be a direct line of affiliated regions between you and your soon-to-be enemy in war.4.9 The club you are attacking through cannot be fighting against the territory already. If it is, you may not attack.4.10 Unions should be able to gift territories to each other, but both clubs and the gifting situation can be reviewed and investigated, and the clubs should be able to prove why the gifting is strategical. If there is a case where there’s a CA with a club, and that CA signs up another club and then gifts it to the first club just for an advantage, that shouldn't be allowed, and would be investigated.
Disabled Clubs:5.1 Clubs are bound to be disabled during the event. If a club is disabled, the first campaign that the club was playing on any of its regions to be completed wins all territories owned by that club.5.2 If the disabled club had no battles in progress, the first admin connected somehow to the club may make a campaign to claim the region.5.3 A club may only claim regions connected to them from disabled clubs. Connections via affiliated regions will not allow you to claim.5.4 If a club has been disabled for 30 days after their match is completed, they will be removed from the conflict.5.5 If a club is inactive for 30 days with no regions or battles (Null or otherwise), they will be removed.
Admins and their Clubs:6.1 Admins may enter as many clubs as they wish, provided they are a Super Admin or have proper permission from the owner.6.2 If an admin has many clubs near each other on the map, they may not forfeit them all to one of the clubs they own. There must be a legitimate campaign that will be checked for unfair play.6.3 Admins are strongly recommended to participate in the political/bilateral goings-on of the war.6.4 Admins are required to be following the Galactic Conflict thread. Reading of all comments is not obligatory as long as they check back every now and then for updates.6.5 Clubs that have not had any activity and are not on the map will be removed from the war after 30 days of inactivity.6.6 In order to join back, they will need to re-register.6.7 A club can have 3 contact admins maximum.
League Points:7.1 A club that successfully takes over the occupation of a region earns 2 league points.7.2 Regions that have become “Null” (see #3 Battles) earn 4 league points to the winner, unless the winner is the club earning a region in the null campaign.7.3 December 18 is the end of the season/start of the next season. At that time, the top 3 clubs with the most regions earn league points.7.4 The top club with the most regions on December 19 earns 30 league points.7.5 The second-place club earns 20 league points.7.6 The third-place club earns 10 league points.7.7 Ties will result in both clubs earning 1 league point.7.8 Other prizes will be involved, such as:
The club with the largest body of connected regions on December 19 earns 5 league points.7.9 Clubs may earn more than one prize of league points at the end of the season. Clubs Withdrawing:8.1 If a club wishes to move on from the Galactic Conflict league, they are free to do so. They must confirm with staff that they are leaving the galaxy.8.2 After informing staff that they wish to withdraw, all regions belonging to that club will be given to Club Wars.8.3 All campaigns with regions of withdrawn clubs will still be counted for points, even for the withdrawn club. (See 5.1)8.4 If a club leaves and then rejoins, it cannot use any campaigns it made before leaving to get back onto the map.
Fair Play:10.1 Games will be checked for fair play.10.2 Cheaters in matches, if they turn the tide of the game, will result in the match being remade completely if the admins wish to continue.10.3 If a cheater arises after the match is considered “complete” by passing the majority of points (daily matches specifically), nothing can be done. If the cheating club is still on that region, the region will be returned to the other club, and they will earn 2 league points.10.4 Disputes on parameters of campaigns can be settled if both clubs compromise. CW staff is not liable for helping to get campaigns started.10.5 Once a match is listed as an official campaign, no club can back down.10.6 If an admin cancels the match, the team that did not abort should fight for the territory by notifying CW staff.10.7 Admins caught sending challenges without first discussing parameters will be reported.10.8 Club Wars League is against unsportsmanlike behavior, which will result in penalties.10.9 Constant requests for updates will not be tolerated.10.10 Club Wars must ensure fair behavior from all admins affiliated with Galactic Conflict.10.11 Do not criticize other clubs.10.12 Do not call names.10.13 Do not sabotage clubs in any way.
