Ugh, I'm sick over this game I just played in a 45/45 time control. Rare that I actually got an advantage in the opening. Here is an example of throwing away a game. Sigh, wearing a big dunce cap.

That for me was the turning point of the game, but then I'm no expert.
I thought I still would have strong initiative, even sac'ing the exchange rook for knight.

Here is a game I played recently, and won (wow). I felt I played well but that is never the whole story often...so I am open to any comments, criticisms or even praise. I would be glad to hear any feedback at all.

Nice one Alan, you pounced on his mistake to win the bishop. Rest seemed to be trading pieces which benefitted you being up a piece. I haven't analyzed but wonder whether you might have been even stronger keeping your queen. I considered pushing the pawn to block the queen.
just checked, houdini says queen takes like you played was strongest move at that point.
