The only "bug" I see here is that all that white space doesn't belong in dark mode. And I'd hardly call that a bug, probably a design decision.

You're right, but "dark mode" shouldn't have that bright of white is my point. Unless I'm completely missing something obvious, that's my guess for what's "wrong" here. The OP didn't provide any other details so I'm stuck speculating.
Again, not saying it's a bug or even an issue per se, each site has its own design guidelines.
its different from before so its probably a bug
maybe it was an intentional feature so where if a side is winning their color goes above the halfway line but it looks goofy and should be redisgned

Well apparently, "captain no supporters," needs to go back to preschool. And the dude needs to chill.
