I got greedy in the beginning and started losing, but then stayed patient and ending up converting from a losing position.

A neat little Alapin Sicilian win in a recent OTB game. Once I had accomplished to get the connect-four pawns, it reminded me how it is often said that whoever gets these wins haha. It turned out to be true!

Ok so I don't actually feel proud of this one because the opening was a mess, but goes to show how much more important is piece activity and king safety than pawn grabbing and material count. I knew I could blunder pawns as long as I kept their king in the center and dominated the file, and that's what happened
