I have been rating all of my opponents "thumbs up" I can't find people whos not polite and friendly, its hella nice
Good Sport
It's a new feature. Currently, we are collecting data to analyze. But once we have some data, we do plan to have an internal scoring system.
It looks like this:
Most people are indeed very nice, but there are some who "banter" or stall when you don't accept draws or want you to resign when they're losing.
So it's a bit of a concern when those press thumbs down out of spite even if you did nothing wrong while the regular players don't bother to press or don't see the thumbs up, but I guess those kind of players would have a low score, so maybe the scoring of players with low scores could be neglected since if they themselves have a low score they're likely to be the ones to abuse it.
You shouldn't worry about people falsing calling you bad sport out of spite
We'll find ways to account for all that.
I've mostly had great friendly experiences here, with (extremely rare) real nasty ones. I love this idea to encourage people to be good sports ![]()
Is there a way that you can track what people have rated you? I dont want people rating me bad if i havent done anything

What if I dirty flagged a player?
That's a reasonable concern. "Primarily rates others badly on own losses" is a fairly easy signal to track, though, so I expect that this is already accounted for, as abusability of systems is a core consideration when building them. ![]()
Maybe there should be a choice of a specific reason to report a bad sport like: Inappropriate chat/let time run out/accused of cheating/etc.
There is
When you say bad sport, one of the drop options is "report" where you can pick what they were a bad sport for.
Where does this connect with people with "question mark" name pics?
I presume those are people "under suspicion" and I try immensely hard not to report people even if I think Shenanigans are Afoot.
I have to know I can play a half decent game, but when you're in middle tilt and get a couple of those guys, it's tough because my own style is either getting good enough to start scaring Experts or else I hang my Queen.
And my studies are kicking in. I uncorked a fresh line nowhere in my thousand games the other day to score a high profile win. Shereshevsky said that fresh positions can raise your play because you're not drifting into hackneyed positions when you are tired or playing bullet.

I've noticed that lately after a game, there is a question like
"Was [playername] a good sport?" And below a clickable thumb up and thumb down.
Is there some sort of internal scoring system that affects something?
