GothamChess vs World discussion

In GothamChess vs World game levy played the caro-kann. 

I create this forum to discuss current move and even further moves' discussion for this game.

If we walk into gotham's territory by d4 then he is experienced enough to beat us. Lets play accelerated panov attack by c4. The idea is to create dynamic imbalances after d5! cxd5 cxd5 exd5 and Nf6!. I think this is our best chance because Levy is opening expert of caro-kann. He knows main lines of caro-kann very deeply with years of experience.

I voted for c4. Also if after multiple moves you want to discuss you may used this forum

I played d4. This move also has the most number of votes.

This isn't just our club, so ultimately the mass of people who don't really care or know about chess will prevail and their vote is what counts xD

ALIEN GAMBIT

Levy knows the Alien Gambit. It was there in one of his GothamChess videos.

We should play advance variation then maybe?

80% of players voting are below 1000, advance variation requires strong positional understanding and precise maneuvars. So we may find good moves but rest of the voters will vote for bad moves

d4 won the vote and now levy replied with d5

Majority of voters are below 1000 who can't handle counterplay against advanced pawns. That's why I suggest Nc3 as the practically better move for us. But I think Nd2 is even better to avoid Levy surprising us with g6 sideline which can happen after Nc3

hehe Nc3, and we can follow up with the destroyer of Caro-Kann's opening.

Nd2 is much better than Nc3, only and only because it does not allow g6

Nd2 and we can still follow up with the opening that shocked the chess world.

h4 h6 h5 Bh7 transposing into drawish Spassky variation is my idea
