Hi just a note to introduce myself I live in Edinburgh the capital of Scotland, and I love playing chess and this has to be the best chess site I have come across I thought your group sounded like a lot of fun and would compliment my on style I like to put the boot in as fast as I can I also like to sacrifice pieces and pawns and the odd queen when appropriate I have made plenty of errors in my calculations in plenty of games but it has help me to win some to. I learnt the moves of chess from my big brother when I was about ten but never took it up till in my twenties when a guy I worked with offered to show me how to play proper we would even go into our work early before we were due to start and we played our games, we played for months before I even got close to a win and that first succsess was a stalemate it felt like a win to me but a real win was not far behind And my friend and I joined a chess club stayed there for about two seasons and I then got married and drifted away from playing chess for more than twenty years I used to play online but had a hunger for a game over the board so seeked out my nearest chess club that was Musselburgh sent an email to the team captain and got a warm welcome to come and play and like the club so joined the club and I am still there today after a couple of years, great game the game of chess. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
