Dear Teammates,

In order to promote an environment that is as rewarding, and as just, as can be for all of our members, we, Will to WIN, adopt the following 'ground-rules'. These 'ground-rules' shall act as the guideline which governs our participation in the group; and shall apply to all without favour.

Thank you.

Will to WIN GROUND-RULES

1. TEAM MATCHES -

         a) Play tough and fair to the end. Take vacation if you can before needlessly timing out, or easily giving up, games.

         b) Don't join a team match and resign; when you resign it affects the whole team!

2. VOTE CHESS -

         a) Play as a team.

         b) Read the previous post. Post your ideas for team evaluation if you differ. This reduces the chances of inferior moves winning the vote!

3. BEHAVIOUR -

         a) We don't suffer spammers, posting inappropriate links, and disrespect of ones teammates or others, etc. (Essentially the same as chess.com public forum rules.)

4. ATTITUDE -

         a) We will not discount other people's ideas.

         b) We will be supportive rather then judgemental

         c) Respect each and every person.

         d) criticize only ideas, not people

4. MEMBERSHIP -

         a) By joining Will to WIN, and retaining membership, you agree to accept these ground-rules.

Anyone found guilty of breaking these rules will be warned/banned at the admins discretion.

I guess the rules are ok but to get back to point number 3 what if they use abbrevations this happens a lot chess.com also does nothing about that !

It happened many times to me because usually the people who are rude know that they'll have a problem if they use faul language so then they use abbrevations !

  bbreviations

what do you mean by abbreviation?

Well usually the rude people on chess.com use them for example if someone tells you fuck you then they'll say f@ck you or fk you or fack you or whatever !

Their very clever when it comes to insulting people !!!

In vote chess ,Team Australia - one particular player was constantly attacked for his explanations of his vote , I defended him by accusing the hierarchy of treating lower rating players with contempt , dictator 2000 rated team members- when things looked bad, blamed drive-by voters (lower raters) for moves made by the elite .(agree with the clique or your vote/opinion is worthless. when match is lost will de-register from that debacle .

That was very nice of you to defend the player.
