Hey everyone!

This is a fun, ongoing game by my own invention. I first introduced it in the group The Optimum, where it rapidly gained popularity. Andrewtb then started it in the group Powerful Pawns. Now it's time to introduce it here!!

This one, unlike the other two, will be co-hosted by me and andrewtb. Some of the words will be of my choosing, and some will be his! 

All right, here's how to play:

I will reveal some clues to a word, and you will try to guess which word it is! I start by revealing the number of letters it is and the first letter. You all try to guess what the word is.  If no one gets it after 24 hours, I will reveal the second letter. Everyone can now guess again. Only one guess per person per day! [EDIT: AS OF MARCH 17, 2013, YOU CAN NOW GUESS TWICE PER DAY INSTEAD OF JUST ONCE. This rule change will remain in effect until futher noted.] Same thing: if no one gets it, I reveal the third letter. On and on until someone gets it, at which point I will start the next word.

Every time someone guesses the word, they will earn points. Points awarded will vary based on how many letters were revealed when you guessed it, and how difficult the word is in general. The sooner you guess it, the better! You can win anywhere from 1 point to 8 points!

Just like in the Optimum, I will keep an updated Point Leaderboard and Word Archive showing who is winning the game!

Sometimes (about every 3-4 words) I will give you a bonus word, which you can guess along with the regular word for a chance to earn more points! 

I will also occasionally give you special words, which some of you already know what they are, but the rest will have to just wait and find out!
