at this time all Ölagardian IddunApple hospital ships have returned home. They are stationed along the international border with the usa. (even america won't fire on hospitals ships, will they?)
meanwhile, all submarines are posted on the line, and all navy aircraft are on 10 second scramble alert.
As for Heimdalur, the Krown has begun air dropping emergency food and water on to the city.
but.... they are also spraying chlorine dioxide from the same planes to disinfect everything.
AND... the rations are dosed with a sedative to bring the rioting to a stop.
Drones with thermal cameras are patrolling above the streets and recording all people elevated temperatures. As well as being targets for stone throwing (and occasionally shooting).
Residents may (and DO) feel as if the Krown is being draconian and heavy handed, however, unbeknownst to them, the Krown is prepared to incinerate the entire island and all life on it rather than risk the virus making it to the mainland. So, anyone who lives through this is remarkably lucky.
