That does look a bit odd, though. Normally, the hint system should guide you, not highlight something that looks more like a bot's response. It might just be one of those Beta quirks where the hint logic gets a bit confused in certain positions.
Out of curiosity, did the hint actually help you find a move, or did it just feel completely off? If it’s consistently pointing to the “wrong side” or not making sense, it’s probably worth reporting it so the team can tweak it. Beta is exactly where they want to catch stuff like this.
Fair play for jumping in against the bots and using hints to learn, that’s exactly what they’re there for 👍
