Home Page

On the Home Page,  is it possible to make the "Activity" section, showing things we follow, collapsible or at least to make "My Activity" the default.  And once you click on "My Activity," is there a clear and simple way to get back to the followed activity? 

Would you want to have tabs for it maybe?

That's a great suggestion, Sarah. I can see how that would be especially helpful for you and your amazing blog. What if we did something like this for the Activity section on Home?

 Hi Dallin.  I think that may work. But I think the "my activity" content should be the default view when the home page opens (or better yet, give the user a choice of defaults).

You're right! We will do both. We will create dropdown for the section, and then add an option to a new Settings page for Home (lots of people will be happy to hear that!) where you can choose which is default for you. Thanks!

Would it also provide some control to get rid of the "Consider following..." suggestion? I've seen several comments about this; some people find it annoying.

Also, it might be useful to have a setting to limit the number of the (initially) displayed items.

Also, ability to hide selected items.

Furthermore, how about a setting that would suppress the annoying huge pictures that show up for blogs.

There are only 20 suggested follows. Once you decline all, they are gone. 

I can see what you mean by big pictures for blogs. Maybe if they don't choose an image, we should just do a small avatar and title (like forum)....
