I can't believe that happened. That's the group that claims they never loose right? It must have been part of their strategy to try and fake us out for a draw. Their perception of themselves (thinking anyone should be happy to draw against them) since they were the greatest ended up being their downfall. That or they don't have enough people staying home to play vote chess. Here's the description of their chess group ..... "We are the Best Players in chess.com. We will get together beat every other chess group out there 1800+ rating." They have 44 members and an average rating of over 2100.
We have an average rating of just over 1600 with nine members. The little guy brought down the giant. This will stay in my mind for a long time, and it will help me remember that the little guy often wins in chess with patience and dedication.
Of course, we can't talk too much. Our one and only loss so far was because of time running out too! LOL
P.S. Then again, it's bad luck to win the first game. lol..lol
