This is what I also submitted in the survey, but I repeat it here for discussion:
- For me, customisation of Home would be the highest priority. Personally, I don't need "Friends" on my homepage, but I would love to have more of my clubs listed. I realise that this might be just the other way round for other users. So customisation seems the way to go.
- I would appreciate the possibility to add "Favourites", i.e. chess.com pages that I visit regularly. (Of course, I can also use my browser's favourites for this purpose. It's just a nuance that I would prefer.)
We see Home all the time. So much that we get very used to things the way they are. When I want to go to one of my top clubs, I click on home and know exactly where it is. When I want to kick off a Daily game, I click home, where I have the location of the New Game section memorized and have my mouse ready to click before the page even loads.
We all get so used to the way things are on Home that it's almost hard to consider any changes there. But by not considering change, we ignore opportunities for improvement. Are we missing out on a much better Home experience? Perhaps we are. Let's find out!
