How can I promote chess at my school?

Me and some friends are running our school’s chess club here in the triangle area. We’ve already put posters around the school, but we only got a few members from that. Any ideas for what else we can do? Thanks.

get together in the open and play a few games with your friends. Someone will always hang around and ask questions.

Set up a Chess board during lunch and see if anyone plays you. If they do, you can invite them to your Chess club

yeah if possible have the school announce a chess club meeting and people will show up usually. that's why my school did and we got 15-20 members
