How do I get better?

I lose pretty much all of my games. I've played decently in a lot of my games but I'm always getting attacked. What should I work on? I get black a lot and play Caro Kann. On white I play Scotch game. Thanks for reading my post.

insane

openings dont matter. study middlegames and endgames.

After checking some of your losses I can tell you that on one you resigned when you were actually not losing material, on some you put the queen out too early and make it easy to attack and in general you don't seem to calculate piece trades so you end up giving away pieces. Also, I'm no expert but I play Caro as my main and I'm fairly certain you're not supposed to play f6. I may be wrong. Maybe you are going in a more french defense playstyle.

You should learn to enjoy getting attacked. When your opponent's pieces invade your territory, they are usually outnumbered. Get very good at taking your opponent's pieces and even better at not letting your opponent take your own pieces. Once your opponent has no pieces and you have all your pieces, winning should follow naturally.

You are giving away your pieces for free. After you don't do that at all anymore, you can start thinking about other things to work on. There are a couple of free tactics courses on chessable, that would be perfect for you, check those out.
