Whenever I try, I always fall down. I’m also not able to get a 45-degree angle with the block.

I play on Java, I hold S and D

S, D, and crouch?

Avatar of VictoryW10

You crouch an I crouch according to my knowledge. When I speed bridges I just jump backwards and place a block.

Avatar of KingShibaChess

You need to crouch

then you need to place a block

then you need to unshift but, at the end of the block you need to crouch again

Drink Speed 2 potion, wear enchanted swift sneak leggings, Soul Speed 3 boots, place soul sands, and you will bridge super fast

Depending on the version of Minecraft Java you’re playing on, it may feel different to crouch and uncrouch; speedbridging in 1.8 vs speedbridging in newer versions is a much different feel, so you have to practice and kinda figure out what the rhythm is.

A good way to get a 45-degree angle is to simply stand on the block and crouch on the edge while pressing S and D. If you end up slowly sliding along the edge of the block, that means your angle is off and you need to angle it more to the right or left. Continue fine-tuning your angle until you cannot detect your character sliding along the block whatsoever. If that happens, your movement is perpendicular to the edge of the block and you’re in a good position to place another block. If you put in the time and focus, you will become more experienced with how your movement and aim works in accordance with the speedbridging technique, including how to instantly get that strafing angle upon standing on the block. Remember that your muscle memory will include repeated mistakes, so take it slow

Another thing people often omit when speedbridging is practicing speedbridging using their other strafe key. In certain situations, you may want to be facing a specific direction after completing a bridge to your destination, especially in PvP situations where speed, movement and sense of direction are crucial. Don’t omit the other strafe key! How you enter a situation after bridging is important

You can start with this ☝️

But after, not face 45 degress, look behind, jump back and place blocks to clutch and repeat

why is speedbridging easier on bedrock how do you speedbridge in bedrock

Avatar of fire_redonly

It’s annoyingly easy in bedrock, just stay 3 blocks away from the place you will place your first block, then hold the placing key with sprinting

A tutorial would help more

Avatar of KingShibaChess

for bedrock just build like 5 blocks up and like look down and you can place blocks

Avatar of VictoryW10

Speed bridge in bedrock much easier than in Java.
