I’ve been playing for about half a year? More or less, since around September 2025

I started in 2025

Started playing many years ago with my Dad when I was much younger. But like most things life gets in the way and somethings end up getting left behind. Chess was one of those things.... until a year or two ago I got back into it.

oh wait, i accidentally lied, i began playing chess in 2007 during spring i believe? my first ever game ended inconclusively, so i guess you could say it ended in a draw. a lot of my early chess games ended inconclusively, except 1 game where i lost due to a checkmate. i don't remember how, but i remember how the queen planted itself right next to my king, protected by the bishop and a rook cut off the 2nd rank (or 7th, i don't remember whether i played with black or white in that game) and i had no pieces that saw the checkmating square
