Yeah. It'd be cool to find sacs which don't get you checkmate. It's pretty easy to find sacs which allow checkmate but it's quite hard to find sneaky knight sacs which do little things like open up rook files to prepare for a huge attack which can in the end checkmate the opposing side.

You should read the book art of attack in chess. Its a good book to learn how and when to create attacks.

Maybe Learn openings that have gambits to were you have compensation where your down material and more actively powerful with pieces and sacrifices working like the Evan's Gambit and Queen's Gambit because then your in range for sacrificing and being more active for an advantage even when your losing material, so maybe do strong openings to play aggressively for being in range for sacrificing and being more active for an advantage even when your losing material.

My boy, you must be creative, your pattern recognition skills should be great and you must create complex chaotic situations to attack like Mikhail Tal.

You will never attack like Mikhail Tal. Even Magnus will never attack like Tal. That being said, if you really want to get good at attacking, play lots of gambits, lots of blitz, do lots of tactics, and learn to develop efficiently and with threats.

For me, once you get your own king safe, try to move most of your pieces to the queen/king side (depends on which side they castle, and if they don't, its better), while also leaving 1-2 pieces (preferably a minor piece and a rook, just a rook or just a minor piece is fine but risky. Also, if you don't have all your pieces, just put one minor piece on the queen/king side.) on the queen/king side so you can respond to counterplay, and if its possible, try to create a pawn storm and always look for sacrifices to open up the king, or even checkmate/win material.

to attack you need to lock the center, have a space advantage and focus on one side of the board.

and to do it like Mikhail Tal, you must know when it is right to sacrifice and when it's better to slowy improve your storm or position in general.
