I just played a test game, and I was definitely able to make a draw occur by "offering" the draw on a 3rd repetition. Not sure what happened in the case of this game though. :\
How to claim draw by repetition in android app ?

hi DeepGreene :-)
Thanks for your test and reply. What happens if the opponent has conditional moves set - or if he moves in between the moment I play my move and the moment I offer the draw ?
Cheers

You'd have to offer draw when your device showed the true, current state of the board. What I found was that, if you don't, the draw offer gets an error dialog, saying that you've got to refresh the game.

ha ! I remember I had such a message ! My opponent probably played before I choose "offer draw" then...
OK, thanks again.

Recently I played this game:

I played the last 10-15 moves on my phone, and I wasn't able to claim the draw either, having to wait for my opponent to do it...
Hi, I was playing a game from my Android phone.
http://www.chess.com/echess/game?id=68224218
After black move #40, we reached a "draw by repetition" position (see black moves #36, 38 and 40).
So, I clicked "offer draw". But afterwards my opponent could continue playing.
How is working the claim for "draw by repetition" ?
If anyone would have a little time to spare on the subject, could we play a not-rated game for testing purposes ?
Cheers,
Tittom
