So, i just played untitled tuesday which is a swiss tournament with 11 rounds of 3min +1 sec increment. I played pretty ok until i reached rounds 9 and 10 where i struggled under time pressure and threw equal positions which caused me to lose. Any tips?

Blitz has bullet in it. Especially below 30 sec, bullet skills and tactical/board awareness are required not to blunder.

I wanted to say not to enter dead draw rook endgames where opponents might be trying to flag you but since there is increment it is not a problem.

I don't know what other might suggest but I think it might be better to keep the brain cooled down between rounds to perform better. Drinking water, getting more oxygen with a few deep breaths...etc might do it.

Try lots of bullet or 2/1 bullet and also don’t second guess yourself if you are about to flag…hesitation breeds more hesitation

In order to play better moves with low time on the clock (and this is gonna sound counterintuitive), play more slow time control games such as Daily, Classical, and Rapid. This is extremely important. Playing slower time controls allows you to spend more time to remember your opening, find the right plans in the middlegame, and play endgames as accurately as possible.

If you know your technique, style, and repertoire to a science in slower time controls--where you have more time to think about the reasons behind your moves and plans--it's much more likely that you'll remember those ideas and be able to find them when you get to play faster time controls.

Oh i think i should have made the forum more specific. I wanted to ask how to play well with low time in blitz and bullet.
