how to get better at rapid..?

1. Practice puzzles.
You can't get too good at puzzles. If you want checkmate puzzles go to custom puzzles.
2. Think to yourself "what if I do it anyway"
Let's say the opposing king is protecting a pawn from your queen., think "what if I do it anyway?" what if you sacrifice the queen?
3. Practice playing longer games.
When you play games, you should think about your moves adequately. If you can't do this easily, play longer time controls or play online tournaments on something like 15|10.
4. Set goals
Set a goal to get to a certain rating before a specific day. This can improve your rating.
5. Get Chess books
I remember my rating skyrocketing after getting a chess book. It probably will help.
6. Set a number of games you lose before stopping.
I would personally say 5 games but if you lose 3 in a row you really should, even if haven't yet lost 5 in a row. This should combat tilt.
7. Target Isolated pawns
If there is a pawn that doesn't have any buddies alongside it, you can exploit that pawn and then shift targets to either the king, a pawn or another piece. This can give you an advantage late into the game.
8. Review every single game.
This seems so basic, but it can really help. It can help you understand weaknesses in your play and can indicate where you can improve.
9. Use Chessbook.com this is an opening trainer that can help you get better in your openings and weak areas.
10. When you have made a mistake, investigate it.
If you make a blunder, miss, mistake, or even an inaccuracy, find out why it is bad.
I hope these ten chess tips help improve your rapid rating and help yourself in other time controls.

I suggest you create a solid opening repertoire such as jobava london system for white. caro-kann against 1.e4 and kings indian defense against 1.d4 for black.

I recommend using this extension to hide your rating and the opponent's rating. It helped me a lot. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/chesscom-utilities/bjeankebiaanlljplaebkiekeimiphha?hl=es

I've heard that the Vienna works well, I have never played it but, it is difficult to play against.

hey guys I am new here. and my rating is 591 so heres my problem please help and advise me.
so, I win sometimes and reach to 627 Elo but then I fall back to like 560 so I am stuck in that rating only and my target is 1200 by then end of 2025 I don't do blunders that much like 1 per match.
I am a queen's pawn opener (chigorin variation) as white and sometimes London (which I abandoned) and in black I just do the opening like my opponent did like for example (e4 then I do e5) I do have a lot of inaccuracies so what should I do?

You're 1100, so here's what I got:
1. Solve puzzles regularly prioritizing accuracy instead of speed. Meaning, no puzzle rush. If puzzles seem fun, you're doing something wrong.
2. For openings, learn tricky lines to win games and opening traps for you and your opponent. Gambits and traps are key in this range. Begin learning common endgames, especially king-pawns and rook-and pawns. These will be showing up more now and you should win these if you know how.
3. Maintain consistency with rapid. 1 rapid game a day > 10 bullet/blitz games every 3 days.
4. When analyzing your games, look at the mistakes, misses, inaccuracies, and blunders you made to better understand where your flaws are. DO NOT stare at the graph for 3 seconds and call it an day.
5. Don't really play bullet a lot unless you have a solid and specific reason to do so. Blitz is fine as long as your playing 1 rapid game a day.
6. When doing puzzles (which is free on Lichess, so go there), aim to train the ones where you are weakest. Make your chess improvement like that. If you become very weak in your weaknesses, but hyper strong in your strengths, you'll have an account with 20k games and the same rating fluctuating.
7. Don't play lower rated players forcefully. The best way to set your elo matches is from -25 to +200. This is best for chess.com because anything higher than 200 and you'll just get whipped probably.
help me. lol
