How to make dead pieces have value?

I am currently making a WOF variant, and I was wondering how I could make dead pieces have a point value.

It seems that zombies cannot have any value, other for the king.

zombies can have value.

also its impossible to make dead-vluable pieces.

actually, you can!

First, make a color dead. then, put in the desired amount of pieces of that color. then, they have value!

dead pieces with value will appear darker than they usually are, but they are not gray. that is how you know for sure.

It is called bounty pieces.
