Hi, would like to share how to post chess boards / games / positions etc. in the comment section. Hope this is clear for all. I use my phone for everything, so it may vary on a PC.
First load the game / position / puzzle you wish to share and click the download button:
The following screen will appear with the PGN (all moves played / entire game) and FEN (the current position shown):
Highlight the one you would like to use (will do FEN for example) and click copy:
Next, go to the comment section which you would like to share in, and click the chessboard icon:
From there you will see 4 options. Click load from FEN, paste the text you copied, and click load:
You will see another list of 4 options;
Set up Board: Can flip board, add/remove pieces etc.
Moves: Enter moves if you'd like to add anything or comment on any moves
Details: Board colour and piece style
Theme: Can even make them puzzles here
I'll show an example of adding some moves to our FEN we copied. Simply play the moves you'd like to add first. Click on any move to bring up the following list where you can add comments, blunders etc.:
Finally, at the bottom of our screen, click insert:
Your diagram will show up in comments as follows until you post the comment:
