ok as for now I think logging out and then navigating to their profile will do. Since chess.com has yet to completely change to the new format, old format is used for logged out users

however currently (at least for me) there is no easy way to navigate to that page, and the only way is to enter the name at the end of the base string url, ie "https://www.chess.com/stats/overview/" followed by the name you want to search for. There both views and followers could be seen.

well I don't think it's possible to friend people without viewing their profile, however it is possible to unfollow a friend. If you're the one who sent the friend requests tho, they may accept the request without viewing your profile, thus the described phenomenon.

go to your stats section copy the url and replace the ID name from yours to the id you want to see
