that was good actually
How was my game????
U black? Not bad for a 400 but try to stop pins and checks ahead of time, also develop as much as you can before your opponent does more pieces u got out your opponent has a higherchance to blunder, also in a position ask yourself is all my pieces defended? or How will my opponent will material/ checkmate? I went from 100 ELO to 700 ELO rn in rapid
I just saw you and your opponent bundered a lot of pieces. Oh btw think ahead of time what your opponent will play so you can stop it

It took 2 YEARS to just get from 100 ELO to 700
its been 2 for me and im almost at 500 though i rarely play any this past year untill recently. even skipping 3-4 months at a time so idk if i could count 2 years.
@RecKLessbomber 13 I think you should focus on converting coz you had a clear advantage which you lost. Look out for opponent attacks coz in move 6 you lost a rook. Look for safety of your pieces coz you lost a rook. Don't try attacks that come to your mind immediately and calculate a few moves ahead if you have an attack. Also, in the opening, you should try to learn a few for any scenario, such as Kings Indian and Caro-kann which you can use to counter any openings, since in the opening, you played a few useless moves such as 3. b5. Otherwise, you managed to find an opportunity to win so that's good and you found a discovered check tactic that gave you an advantage. Maybe play a few puzzles to increase your tactical vision, learn some openings, I can recommend chessreps.com that teaches you the first 5 lines of an opening. You should improve your opening and endgame, but your middlegame was particularly good. Some openings I recommend are Ruy Lopez and French Defense. If you can learn English Opening, it will be a powerful weapon at your level since it's less common and knowing the lines puts you at an advantage with people near your level. But main points, study and perfect an opening that suits your style of play, create traps and opportunities for tactics in the middlegame as well as threats and attacks, using all of your pieces to the best of your ability and for the endgame, try to promote your pawns and don't let the opposite king take your pawns. Hope this helps!
That is nice, for you I would focus on being able to protect your pieces and also watching out for your opponent's moves, and focus on an area where you can easily checkmate the king in a few moves, this helps when your opponents are not aware of that, but it also can make your opponent's movements easier to predict, I might be a 100 elo but I do not really care about my elo that much (only in puzzles XD)
I want your honest opinions on my mistakes and other things I have a chess tourney next wednesday and im trying to improve as much as I can. Thank You : ) PS. I am black
