Can some high rated players like 1900+,2000+ help?

I could use some help just getting to 1800

I'm lower-rated but I think just take a break from chess will help.

I'm actually in a similar position - I've been trying to break 2000 rapid for a while but have really hit a wall and am finding it hard to get past. Sometimes I'll get close but never have been actually able to get above 2k

I'm also stuck at 1700. What I think I should do more is to try to get new perspective of thinking from watching master games.

I think its called tilt. Happens to all players where basically your brain needs time to recover. The most important thing is don't stop playing chess.what you should instead do is play daily games and stay active with some chess related things besides playing.

The advice I'm sharing came from a blog and it helped me recover in just a few days.

A great book you should read is called How to reassess your chess by Jeremy Silman. I highly recommend also a 2300/coach and friend of mine suggested this book.

Just be patient, I was stuck at 1800-1700 for 1 year and a half and that's when I jumped 300-400 rating points in rapid.

Go to lichess. You'll pass 2000 in no time.

The most important thing for me was to be aware of my opponent's ideas and not just focusing on my own ideas. You can improve on this by doing some very tough puzzles. For example I did a bunch of difficult puzzles on Lichess since I can do infinite puzzles there since I don't have diamond membership.

I was in the same spot, and it took me a lot of time to reach 2000. First, you must stabilise at 1900, then 1950, then 1975 and finally reach 2000. Stabilising at a rating range can be tricky since you must consistently beat anyone lower than your rating range. The only thing that helped me improve was studying my games consistently and not making the same mistakes. Moreover, I had been playing a dubious opening earlier, so I went towards something more streamlined, which helped me gain the final push to reach 2000. You will also need to do some introspection to understand the weak points in your game and then actively work on them.
