Ohhh... you were in crazy or bug house. the only legal move was to block with a piece that you had obtained, since you were in check, and your bishop was pinned to your king. You had no other moves. You had to place something down, not move something.
The only legal move for you is to put the bishop or knight on d8, moving the queen is not legal, your bishop is pinned by opponent queen on e2, so you cant move bishop on e7

he has no queen
he mentioned he cant move his queen so i might have mentioned it by fault, but there was no issue, his only option were to put knight or bishop on d8

you cant move the bishop cause queen takes king at e2 i already know this cause i take daily training with my grandpa.
This is a special gamemode in chess. Any peices of your opponent you take, you can use against them. The move is to place one of those peices in front of the king. no lag, and the game wasn't over, but I can understand the confusion.
