I need help guys…
I have to give you a brutally honest opinion: It's not that big of a deal. I'm constantly in that state not going to lie, although maybe not number 1 (I always have decent energy even if I dont sleep, but tbh that is a physical trait not anything I can change even if I want to). Losing motivation usually comes after some sort of challenge/obstacle, although not necessarily. Zoning out may be for a various reasons, such as being tired, feeling bored or having stray thoughts. Usually, at least in me, I become like that either after a major upsetting event, or I just completed some goal/milestone and I feel like I don't have anything to do. Do you think you fall into that category? If no, I believe maybe (again, only from my experience) find a new thing you might enjoy. For example I started anime after life became boring, then started chess, and finally a few months ago I started rapping because again, I don't feel motivation losing more and more rapids XD. If you have any more specific context or patterns, feel free to tell us and we'll support you until you come out of this!

Actually, not necessarily. Sometimes, overreacting or being hyper aware of feeling down might worsen it. I believe the best way is to first identify the problem, remove the cause if it is ongoing, and find something fun to temporarily distract yourself. Medical help isn't always needed.
read some inspirational books, watch some ted talks, exercise more, and try to change your perspective. Take a personality test and see what would help!
oh and also you could ask chatgpt lol
Bing AI is now my trash can for all venting and nonsense xD
Well, i remember i feel that, probably of see continue you feel boring, i say search others things don't be animes or chess, other activities for take a break of anime and chess, i feel that a lot times with the chess, for exemple in the 1000 elo i don't want follow then i leave, in the 1488 too i leave the chess, but always come back and improve, Then if you don't feel nothing with chess relax your activities in chess until have feeling of play, but if you dream with one goal can do it, only believe in yourself and the work
It's normal. There are months when you don't feel like doing anything. Also, remember that 2026 is close. In a few weeks there will be September and even we've both already reached this club's yearly goals and you already did a lot irl
If you are in teenage, it is completely normal and due to hormonal changes and you will also face times of high energy and positive mood as well as its opposite due to mood swings. Also if you are female (idk) then during ovulation and few days further the hormones also causes mood swings but that is also temporary and also go away after few days.
Also, stay away from any toxic company, no matter how close are you. Most of the mental problems are due to loneliness that comes more from bad company than lack of company
In case it is not due to hormonal changes, then there is another reason. You having to repeat sane routine every day makes it quite full of burnout. Once in a week there should be break where you do something new and enjoyable, something that refreshes you. Then physical activity is a must. Without that, the thing you are face is a must otherwise. Then address your bad company, if you have.
My conclusion is stop overthinking about you problem and take a break that involves some good outdoor activity.
Just take your time and try to reflex about those problems with someone, no one is pressuring you.☺️
I'm going to give you honest opinion here, i have also experienced this before but it was back in Middle School one of the things that could be causing it might just be burnout but that was in my case at the time, here's some things that might be causing it but of course I cannot diagnose you for anything here.
- stress
- burnout
- depression
- Fatigue
- Anhedonia
also take an break and trying to figure out what is going on with you, of course it's not going to be an easy process but at least you can try and as far as I know you are a great person Yuki-San don't let this stop you from being an great person
Maybe visit some places you like, and spend time talking with people you can be open with everything...believe in yourself....you can also try meditation...Hope these help and you feel better...!
Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well.
I just wanted to share a little about what’s been going on with me lately, and maybe get some advice if you have any.
Lately, I’ve been feeling really different. I don’t know if it’s burnout—or in the worst case, maybe depression (though I’ve never experienced that before). I’m hoping and praying it’s not that.
I’ve noticed a few things:
• I’ve had almost zero energy, no matter how much I sleep.
• I’ve lost motivation for chess improvement and other things I care about.
• Sometimes I even find myself zoning out mid-conversation with family.
• And maybe the hardest part—I feel like I’ve been drifting away from the things I love, like anime and the games I used to really enjoy.
It could just be a phase, but since this is new for me, I’d really appreciate any tips or advice.
If you losing interest in things you used to like, then-you are becoming mentally mature, this is very common.

I have to disagree with you on this one, mentally mature people will know how to balance different things in life, and will understand the importance of hobbies and leisure activities to prevent overload or mental stress. So no this is not a sign of growth, although neither is it a huge cause for concern.

I'm going to disagree with this one, because it contradicts itself because if one person is starting to lose their love for hobbies then it might be harder for them, but it is not always an huge cry for concern rather it is something to watch out for and learn what hobbies and activities that they want to do but it takes time to understand
